1. Information We Collect

When you create a SegForge account, start the free trial or purchase SegForge, we collect only the information necessary to run your account, process your payment and deliver your license:

Email address: Required to create your account, deliver your license key, email you the free-trial download link when you ask for it, and for product support.
Account details: A securely hashed password, whether your account is on the free trial or holds a license, and the date you started.
Country: Derived from your IP address when you visit our website or open checkout, used only to show the correct price and currency.
Payment information: Processed securely by Razorpay. We never store your card or UPI details.
Usage analytics: Anonymized page view and click data collected via Google Analytics 4 to improve our website.
How the site is used: Our own small script records the pages you open, the buttons you tap and the time spent, with a random id kept in your browser and no cookies, so we can see which parts help. Visitors in the EU, UK and EEA are counted without an id.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your SegForge account, including the free trial.
To deliver your SegForge license key via email.
To send important product updates and support communications, and occasional news or offers about SegForge. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link.
If you ask for the download link, to send up to three short reminder emails over the following week (for example, to check that the download worked). Each one has an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email list so that we do not contact you again.
To process refund requests if applicable.
To improve our website based on anonymized analytics data.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

Razorpay: Payment processing. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
Supabase: Secure license database storage.
Brevo: Email delivery (license keys, account verification) and product-update emails.
Google Analytics: Anonymized website analytics.

4. Data Retention

Your email address and license key are retained for as long as your license is active, to support license validation and refund processing. Free-trial accounts are retained until you ask us to delete them. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Video Files

SegForge processes your video files entirely locally on your computer. No video footage is ever uploaded to our servers. The Meta SAM2 AI model runs 100% offline on your GPU or CPU.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies via Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is tracked. You can opt out via your browser settings.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage and HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page or Discord.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email if we have your address on file.
